I’ve lived in Barnstable since 1981. Flew twenty years for the US Navy (P3 Orions & T28 as flight instructor) 13 years out of NAS South Weymouth, a little Boeing 737 airline time for People Express Airlines in the 80's. 1993 started Alpha Flying, Inc purchasing, managing and flying corporate aircraft. Company became a leader in aircraft "Fractional Ownership". Left Alpha Flying in Dec 2003. I was burned out and had reached the point of being ineffective. Time for someone else to step in. In 2004 I bought an AutoQual franchise which did interior repairs for the used cars at name brand dealerships all around Eastern MA. I sold the business in 2013 and for the first time in 32 years I took the summer off and actually had a beach sticker on my truck. Since 2015 I’ve had a part-time seasonal job tending bar on the Hyline ferries between Hyannis and the islands and enjoying the hell out of it.

I have stayed close with Bill And Betsey (Kinney) Hines who renovated a home in Cotuit. I also hear frequently from Jack Davis, Jerry Shannon and Joe McDonald.
