This hit me hard. I knew Gin had been ill but spoke with her 2 weeks ago and things appeared to be ok. At least that is what she told me. The news of my dearest friends passing is beyond words. We have been friends since 7th grade. I spent summers in NH with her and her family on Lake Winnisquam and we generally spoke each week, and when I was in Needham I always stopped and visited with her. We shared many many good times, we went through alot together, I dont remember anything negative at all in our friendship all these years. I will miss her terribly as her family and other friends will. Please keep her in your heart. She was a wonderful person inside and out. Love you Gin

I went all the way from kindergarten to graduation with Ginny. She was always a lovely person, and this news is terrible. Unfortunately we are entering that age group where we are losing classmates and friends. RIP GinnyNancy Herendeen (Bonoli)
I am so saddened to hear of Ginny's passing. She and I worked together at Grant's in Needham Square while in High School. She worked in the fabric department just outside the office I worked in so we were side by side every day and she sat behind me in Senior English Class.. She would make me laugh during class by whispering silly things in my ear. Sue Stansfield, I am so sorry for your loss. I know how close you were with Ginny and you were the first person I thought of when I read this sad notice. May she reast in peace.

This was bad news for me. Ginny and I went through Newman in the same division, snd stayed friends through high school. . She was alway laughing at some goofy thing or another, making us all laugh. She was a wonderful person. The last time I saw her was a Ken Martin's memorial a few years back. She was in good heath and still laughing. I had thought about her very recently.
Just too damn sad. I'm going to her wake this afternoon at Eaton's.
