What have you been up to:
left Germany in 1989 and settled here in Orlando. if I had the finances I would move elsewhere mainly because I don't speak spanish and I'm now a minority, so what else is new. job situation here is not good. Florida is 12.2%, while the national average is around 9%. Hopefully things will change for the better soon. the good news is I can retire and collect ssan in five years without any penalty. By the way, I was in the military for 9 years. That's how I ended up in Germany. As of January 2017 I landed a job as driver for Cardinal Health. I work in a Nuclear lab handling radioactive doses of medicine. And yes, they provide plenty of protection so I don't start to glow. Best job I've had since I was in and worked for the government. Full benefits and everything. Working towards my second retirement.
